| Welding: |
| 5754 is readily weldable using standard methods such as gas, electric, resistance, and spot welding. It has good weldability and retains good strength in the welded condition. |

| 5754 has excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine environments. It is resistant to stress corrosion cracking and exhibits good performance in corrosive conditions. |
